"As water reflects the face to one’s face, so does one’s heart reflect to another."
Shoval ("Shehakol Bara Likvodo") is a dialogue and advocacy organization dedicated to promoting the acceptance of LGBTQ+ individuals within the religious community. We invite you to an authentic, face-to-face encounter that fosters open hearts, mutual understanding, and a shared language.

Who We Are
We are an integral part of the community. All Shoval volunteers grew up and were educated in religious institutions. We know religious society intimately; most of us belong to religious communities and observe Halakha (Jewish Law).
Our Vision: We work so that religious LGBTQ+ youth will never have to choose between their identity and their faith. Our dream is for schools, communities, and homes to be places of inclusion and acceptance—spaces where they can thrive and grow.

Building Bridges Without Changing Halakha
Shoval has no political agenda and no intention of changing Halakha. We believe in returning to our roots to foster a dialogue that helps religious society become more attentive to the challenges faced by its members.

Our Dialogue:
Sensitive, respectful, dignified, and closely aligned with the religious public.

Our Approach:
Every session consists of a personal story followed by an open Q&A for thoughts, feelings, and diverse views.

Our Goal:
Building a society that embraces all its parts.
